Ep.432 ~ World’s Top Female Pro Skateboarder ~ Lizzie Armanto

It has been really fun interviewing some of the world’s top influencers. One of the reasons is because many of these influencers are also top high-performers as well and today’s guest is no different. Lizzie Armanto joins us today on the mic. Lizzie is one of the world's best skateboarders and has the accolades to prove it. Lizzie has won over 30 skateboarding awards including placing first overall in the World Cup of Skateboarding points race from 2010-2012. She won the gold at the first Women’s Skateboard Park X Games in Barcelona, Spain. She won the 2014 Van Doren Invitational and in 2018 she became the first female skater to complete Tony Hawk’s 360-degree ramp. And, she will be competing in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. She is one of the most groundbreaking women in skateboarding history and she is joining us on today’s show.

During the interview we dive into a variety of things with Lizzie about how she has grown from a kid skating in Southern California to an international skateboarding pro. Lizzie shares about daily rituals, how she sees competition and fun, her mindset around being a professional skater and the importance of doing what she loves. Later in the interview, we touch on how Lizzie ‘gets in the zone’, what it is like being in the zone, or in flow-states for her, some of the other hobbies she enjoys, other cities and countries around the world that Lizzie really enjoys skating in, and of course how she manages her influence.
